Why is Concrete Paint Different than Standard Wall Paint?
Concrete Paint, generally referred as Concrete Stain is unlike standard wall paint, concrete stain is designed to let the concrete release moisture and air that happens typically while not letting moisture in. Just like an acrylic nail polish, concrete stain protects the concrete from moisture getting into the concrete causing damage while allowing concrete to release moisture and air. If you used wall paint on a concrete floor, the color would “peel off” because the concrete is releasing moisture and if the paint will not allow this to happen, it would just pop off the paint to release the moisture.
